From Charles De Gaulle Airport
CDG is Paris' main international airport, situated 14,5 miles (23 km) from the city centre. It may take about an hour to go to downtown Paris by taxi. Taxis are licenced and must use their taximeters. Fast and reliable airbus services carry passengers from the airport to downtown Paris.
RER (suburban railway) runs to the Gare Du Nord railway station and has a connection to the subway there.
From Orly Airport
Orly Airport is 3 miles (14 km) from Paris centre.
Taxis take about 40 minutes from Orly airport to central Paris. Airbuses are also available and run frequently to different districts of the city.
RER connect to the Gare d'Austerlitz railway station and the Metro (subway).
